Behind The Modest Co.

Meet the faces behind The Modest Co. Although I (Morgan) manage all of the content, these faces (furry or not) are also a part of my team. Whether it's giving me things to write about, inspiring me, or watching the Conner Critters / Child so I can get some writing done (thanks, babe), I could not do it without them. They are my "why".


Scott had Dukie (12), and Morgan had Cooper (Passed away at 9 years old on 9/16/24). The humans met and fell in love, then decided to rescue Murphy (5). They felt like the house just wasn't full of enough hair, so they adopted Arthur (8). They wanted to add a girl to the pack, so they adopted Stoli (4). And just when everyone thought they were done, the breeder said Stoli's mom was up for adoption. So they had to get Reyka (8). That's the story of how the Conners got all of their Critters.


The Conners welcomed their miracle baby in the summer of 2025, and he, although not shown below has filled their family with more love than you could imagine.
